Become a Member of NCFA

It’s easy! There are several different membership options so you can choose the option that is best for you.

  • Organizational Members – As an organizational member, the organizational entity holds membership. This NCFA membership option is for organizations with an interest in, and commitment to, the NCFA mission, who maintain folic acid related priorities, and who promote and engage in folic acid activities. Individuals representing an Organizational Member can rotate.
  • Individual Members – There are two levels in this NCFA membership option:
    • Level 1. Professional Member – The Professional Member may be any individual whose work is related to folic acid activities. This may include any individual who is engaged in folic acid activities while the focus of the individual’s organization may be broader or not specifically centered on folic acid. Professional Members may be called upon to serve as technical advisors for NCFA efforts.
    • Level 2. Consumer Member – The Consumer Member may be any individual who has been personally interested in folic acid. This encompasses all of the potential applications of folic acid. Consumer Members may be called upon to serve as media spokespersons or as advocates for folic acid related priorities.

As an Individual Member, you as the individual hold the membership in NCFA.

Prospective new members will be asked to complete a statement agreeing to support the mission of NCFA, as well as a survey on how they would like to be involved. NCFA’s Steering Committee will review and discuss prospective new members.
